Dennis Hopper was the director on the movie "Colors". I knew Sean Penn & Madonna. I had been to there wedding in Malibu in 1985.. I went with Richard Arrington the make up man that did Sean for "At Close Range" she sang the song for the movie. I also knew his mother and we had gone to lunch at the Penn family ranch in Malibu, his mother had a lunch party and I went with Richard and Elle Elliott they had worked with her on the movie "Winter People", we walked on there beach his mother was an actress. Father Leo Penn a TV director. The house was very cowboy style expensive set furniture from his movie sets. I Had dinner with Sean and Madonna and she flirted with me by licking her fingers in a suggestive way after eating spare ribs , before we shook hands. I think she was trying to make Sean as jealous as possible was putting fuel on the fire, it was the Muse restaurant on Beverly. So, I arrived on the set downtown L.A. gangland area. Dennis Hopper had to pay a bribe to the Bloods so he could film at this location, My agent John Barkworth from Writers and Artists Agency said it could be a tough show, how right he was, what I did not know was Madonna was in a mood. I was standing with Dennis and Sean blocking the shot etc., I was playing a cop, when a teamster calls Dennis. Madonna has arrived in her 450 SL Mercedes top down dressed to kill , in this very bad area of downtown and started flirting with the gang members that were there as extras. They had been threw wardrobe and I knew they did not have any weapons on them and the teamsters were there and they are a tough lot. One of the gang guys made some gang bang remark about Madonna and all hell broke out.. Sean did punch an extra and went to jail for thirty two days.. They lasted 4 years married I saw Andy Warhol talking to Cher at there wedding to bad they didn't meet later in life .. they would make a great power couple .. 1985-1988 .. I said to them what are you doing practicing to be Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton ... I'm sure Sean realized what depravity all about was with her .........
