Harold Robbins / Thanksgiving party !!

So, 1979 November in Hollywood, I took Aliceson Susan Robertson, my oil heiress friend from Houston, to a, 'Thanksgiving Day Dinner Party ' at Harold Robbins, at his Tower Grove Drive house above the Beverly Hills Hotel .. Aliceson rented a black stretch limo and left her house in Bel-Air, that was on Sunset Blvd., by the gates. And then came over to my Laurel Canyon half acre with a 20 x 40 ft. swimming pool. ' Murry the K ' the famous disk jockey was my next door neighbor, and picked me up. So, we go to Grace and Harold's mansion.. Aliceson is wearing a dress by Zandra Rhodes with paper clips on it.. and we arrive and I introduce her to them .. we are the only couple in a limo..  Dean Martin's ex-wife, The Queen of Cool - - Jeanne, a stunning blonde, we talked about her 1973 divorce from Dean and her son Dean Paul he was still alive then later he was killed in a plane crash ..  Red Buttons and Harold sent her limo to pick up Buddy Hackett at the "Tonight Show in Burbank" ..  Harold was interested in her, he said to me where is your big blonde when we were going to sit down at the table. Aliceson's mother was 1st cousin to Baron Ricky di Portanova and he had this beach house in Acapulco that was in a Bond movie .. It was great fun there. Hollywood family gathering .. Harold ended up renting the house on Sunset in Bel-Air, that Aliceson was renting.  'Villa Arabesque' is the name of the house in Mexico ..  and is for sale today for 29 million bucks .. Aliceson was from the side of the family with the real big 'Texas Oil' money' !! The table talk was about the book called "Blood and Money" a Tommy Thompson mystery about the death of a Houston socialite Joan Hill !!!!
